展出日期：2016年4月20日-7月16日 （週一～週五） 10:00 am-16:00 pm（國定假日、例假日休館） 展出地點：中國文哲研究所文哲藝廊（行政大樓2F、3F） * 開幕茶會：2016年4月20日（三） 10:00 am許美玲芭蕾追隨李丹，繪畫師承孫家勤仕女繪畫與鄭善禧民俗畫風，西畫則接受吳承硯自然寫實的風格，至今仍持續埋首於吳承硯畫室創作。歷經臺北故宮博物院多年書畫鑒識課程，將繪畫史學與舞畫創作結合，完成碩士論文《北宋瀛山圖之研究》，博士論文《宋代樂舞伎之研究》。歷任淡江大學、城市大學，教授美術史、視覺藝術、美術繪畫與藝術療癒課程，目前於銘傳大學任教，也是臺大校友團、臺灣人體畫學會、日本形象美術學會會員。 畫作曾於文化大學華岡博物館、新北市文化局、時代畫廊、城市大學、市立圖書館、臺安醫院……等地展出，並獲收藏家張木養先生贊助。 ‧1992年，赴美國加州大學Sacramento分校音樂教育系進修 ‧1993、1994年參加Sacramento分校與加州Pepperdine University 教師聯合畫展 ‧2014、2015年參與華岡博物館與國美館「民國臺灣情」策展工作 ‧2016年於中央研究院中國文哲研究所文哲藝廊、日本名古屋愛知縣美術館與中正藝廊展出 許美玲抽象舞畫，來自舞蹈經驗，由肢體延展呼應抽象畫表現，透過線條、色彩與形象，以現代畫派的方式，強調繪畫的平面性，沒有寫實物象，也是透視繪畫的反動。 其創作方式，採用書法書寫性、舞蹈肢體、滴畫技法、圈點暈染、顛倒構圖……等特殊方式。畫者跌宕於畫史，舞畫合一， 融合書法線條與中國壁畫色彩，強化自我意識，表現無秩序與虛無哲學，為當代藝術注入嶄新的生命。 「繪畫是凝結的音樂，舞蹈是流動的繪畫」，精彩的是音樂、舞蹈與繪畫碰撞，古今、東西的衝擊，走進舞畫的世界，讓靈魂與繪畫、音樂、舞蹈與共舞吧！ Mei-Ling Shiu learned ballet from Dan Lee, Chinese lady portraiture from Chia-Chin Sun, and folk style painting from Shan-hsi Cheng, and she continues to study realist painting in the workshop of Cheng-yan Wu. Mei-ling Shiu's work brings the physical movements of dance to abstract painting. As a reaction to perspective painting, her modernist style focuses on the flatness by eliminating realistic objects and using lines, colors and images. By combining Chinese calligraphy, dancing poses, drip and wash painting techniques, and reverse composition, Shiu invigorates modern art with the traces of disorder and nihilism. She makes her way through the history of painting and achieves a unity of dance and painting in her combination of the lines of Chinese calligraphy and colors of Chinese murals. "Painting is a materialized form of music, and dancing is a flowing form of painting."
